We’re excited to introduce Reign Marcial, who joined Real Living just two months ago and has already made a remarkable impact with his positivity, enthusiasm, and boundless energy. Reign brings over 13 years of healthcare industry experience to his role as Group Culture, Care, and Quality Manager. Reign developed a groundbreaking program integrating rhythm and dance exercises to enhance cognitive function and muscle strength, and he is eager to expand it further at Real Living.

Oh, What a Night! The opening of the Art Show at Pakuranga Park last evening was a tremendous success! A full house gathered to admire the remarkable work of over 50 talented artists from our four Real Living villages and beyond. Entertainment reporter Kate Rodger delivered a lively and heartfelt opening speech, officially cutting the ribbon to kick off three exciting days of artistic celebration.

At Real Living, November is all about celebrating the Melbourne Cup. For the residents of Remuera Gardens, it's one of the most joyous occasions of the year! Residents and staff come together in their finest outfits to mingle in the Lounge and share in the excitement of the race. The atmosphere is vibrant as everyone gathers to cheer on their favorite horses while indulging in delicious treats and refreshing drinks.

We’re hosting our annual art exhibition, showcasing the creative talents of artists from our four Auckland Real Living Villages and beyond! Fri 15th, Sat 16th and Sun 17th November. Come and enjoy our hospitality as you feast your eyes on work from over 50 exhibitors. There is a gold coin entry with proceeds going to Auckland Dementia.

Our superstar Village Assistant at Epsom Village, Penny, is embarking on a new adventure in the South Island, and she shared heartfelt words of gratitude during a special farewell morning tea organised in her honor. Penny dedicated over two years to Epsom Village, and during that time, she became deeply cherished by all the residents.

If you’re around Warkworth this weekend, don’t miss out on "Captured: A Photographic Time Capsule of Warkworth". This fascinating exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the growth of this beautiful town, captured through the lens of a camera. It will be held in the Southgate Room at the Warkworth Hotel from October 17 to 19. Residents of Warkworth Oaks are especially fortunate to have this incredible event right on their doorstep.

At Remuera Gardens, residents enjoy a heated swimming pool, a spa, a gym, a library, and even a 45-seat tiered cinema. What more could they wish for? On top of all that, they also have a coffee van that visits every Friday, serving freshly made barista coffee. Staff and residents gather in the beautiful gardens to meet the friendly Sanji, who undoubtedly makes the best lattes this side of Auckland.
